A football chairman hosts a glitzy party to celebrate a new signing, but as the guests raise their glasses to toast a successful future, his wife suddenly drops dead. A pair of MI5 agents are called in to investigate, and it's not long before the finger of suspicion points at the victim's husband - until he too is murdered.
